Sun Wave Group extended the business to Moldova at the beginning of 2023 through a partnership with the largest national distributor – Dita EstFarm, which has over 200 own pharmacies and a 45% MS.
Starting in March and by the end of July 2023 the team was formed of 5 Medical Sales Representatives (MSR), which currently covers over 80% of the territory of Moldova through visits to doctors and pharmacies.
Even if the MSR are Dita EstPharm employees, their activity is coordinated by Sun Wave Pharma Romania Business Unit Manager and Brand Manager, according to the Romanian model but fine-tuned according to the needs of Moldova.
The division portfolio has been created from 16 products, which are top selling brands in Romania. In April the first 6 of them were notified, the rest by the end of 2023:

Sun Wave Pharma Moldova organized 9 activities such as chattings, hospital presentations and round tables which reunited a total of 127 doctors last year.
We also participated at 3 important congresses
- in June – the International Congress “XXXVII Week of the Balkan Medical Union” organized by USMF Chișinău, where Imunice and Altrifer LDS Junior were presented in front of 350 doctors
- in September – The National Congress of Pediatrics, where Imunice and Altrifer LDS Junior were presented
- in September – The Surgery Congress, as a sponsor with a stand where Endolex Complex was promoted by our Team to all 380 doctors who attended
In November 2023 we organized a Sun Wave Pharma Medical Conference dedicated to Endolex Complex. This conference was attended by 133 specialists and general practicioners. Two very important doctors, from Romania and Chișinău, accepted to be speakers and shared the results of their clinical cases that they experienced during their medical practice.
We also managed to carry out a sell-out campaign for FluEnd Extreme lozenges in Dita EstFarm own pharmacies “Farmacia Familiei” in Q4 2023. To help the pharmacists with their future recommendations and to inform them about the benefits of FluEnd Extreme brand our Team presented digital brochures to 229 pharmacists.
In 2024 we will expand the distribution network further. We have the approval of The Society of Pediatrics to use a “Product Recommended by the Society of Pediatrics from Moldova” sticker on all pediatric products from our portfolio.
We will be a general sponsor of The National Pediatric Congress in June where we will present Altrifer LDS Junior, Sun-Lyte and Imunice.
We will participate in The Congress of Family Doctors in May where we will present Sun-Lyte and Altrifer LDS Junior.
We will continue to organize activities such as chatting, round tables and hospital presentations.
We will organize a 2nd Sun Wave Pharma Conference in Q4 2024.
In the second half of the year, we will expand the portfolio with new products.
